What is the course limit?
The Half Marathon course is open for 3 hours; a 14 minute per mile pace limit.

Can I change my mind about my race distance?
You must participate in the race you are registered for. Make any changes in person at packet pick-up.

I won’t be able to run. Can I get a refund?
Sorry, refunds are not allowed. You can still pick up your packet prior to the race or have someone pick it up for you. It will not be mailed to you afterwards.

Is the race chip-timed?
All races are chip-timed using tags affixed to the back of your race bib. For best results, be sure to wear your bib on the front of your shirt on race day.

Can I run with my dog, bike or stroller?
Dogs, bikes, strollers are not permitted on the course for the safety of everyone involved in the race.

Can I wear headphones?
Electronic listening devices are permitted but strongly discouraged for the safety of everyone involved in the race. Make sure you can hear race annoucements.

What if the weather is bad?
The races take place rain or shine. Follow the Drake Road Races page on Facebook for additional race information and weather related updates on race day. Sorry, no refunds.

Where are the water stops and porta-potties?
Restroom access is available before the start of the race inside Drake Stadium. Enter the stadium from any entrance. Athlete services are offered on the west stadium concourse. There are 10 water stop and porta-portable toilet locations on the half course, including 2 on the 10K and 1 on the 5K.

Do participants in all races get medals?
Every finisher in the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K will receive a medal after crossing the finish line.

What are the prizes?
Overall prizes are offered Scheels gift cards to the top three and top masters male and female finishers in each race. Age division awards are offered to the top three male and female finishers in their age division of each race.

What is the Bulldog Double?
Athletes who compete in both the Drake Road Races and the Grand Blue Mile will receive a commemorative finisher medal after completing the 1-mile race later in the week.

Can I take a shower?
In the Bell Center at 9am. Show your bib. Bring a towel.
