The Grand Blue Mile was created by the Drake Relays and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield to encourage healthy habits and celebrate personal achievement. Since its founding in 2010, the Grand Blue Mile has hosted more than 45,000 participants representing 47 states, six countries, and four continents.

This feel-good event brings friends and families together in the spirit of well-being through a one-mile street run suited for all ages and abilities. From recreational to competitive, there's something for everyone at the Grand Blue Mile.
