Drake Road Races - Blazing 10k Club Competition
The Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom in collaboration with Runablaze Iowa will host the Blazing 10k Club Competition. The 10k elite race will be contested during the Drake Road Races marking the official start to America's Athletic Classic.
The elite competition will attract athletes from the region. Runablaze Iowa will actively be recruiting USATF men's and women's teams and athletes to create a highly competitive field.
A prize purse of $4,000 is on the line for the elite teams competing. The top three teams in each the male and female division will receive the following prize money for their showing:

The Top 3 individual athletes within the Blazing 10k Club Competition will receive a free pair of shoes thanks to Fitness Sports.
Scoring is based on the cumulative time of the 3 fastest scorers on a team for the men and 3 fastest scorers for the women. The team with the lowest cumulative time will be the overall winner and the other times will follow suit. A tie breaker is broken by the next consecutive runner on the team's finishing time.
