Packet Pick Up - Friday, April 17, 2026

Athletes competing in the Drake Road Races and the Grand Blue Mile presented by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield will receive their race day essentials on Friday, April 17 in the Knapp Center on the campus of Drake University. Full event schedule will be posted in early 2026.

The event is free and open to the public and will include health and fitness vendors.

NEW in 2026: Race Day Packet Pick-Up

We’re excited to offer a new option to make your race weekend even more convenient.

If you can’t make it to early packet pick-up—whether you’re traveling, working late, or just short on time—you can now pick up your packet on race morning.

How It Works

Add Race Day Packet Pick-Up to your registration, and your packet will be ready for you on race day—no extra trips needed.

• Cost: $20
• Availability: Limited to the first 200 participants

Pick-Up Details

• Time: 6:00–7:00 AM
• Location: Will-call tent on the west concourse (near the start line)
• Additional details will be emailed before race day

How to Add This Option

1. Sign in to your RunSignup account
2. Go to your Profile
3. Find Drake Road Races under Upcoming Events
4. Click Manage Registration
5. Select Add-Ons (or Manage Add-Ons)
6. Add Race Day Packet Pick-Up and check out
